What is the treatment for Broca aphasia?
Broca aphasia has other names, including expressive aphasia and nonfluent aphasia. It tends to be the result of a stoke or a brain injury.
If the damage to the brain is mild, the symptoms may reduce even if there is no treatment. However, if the condition is relatively severe, a patient needs to have speech and language therapy.
The earlier the therapy starts, the more effective the result can be. What’s more, patients often have the therapy in groups.
