Abnormal vaginal bleeding is the first symptom of cervical cancer. It can occur during a period. In a period, bleeding is considered abnormal when the volume is larger or the duration is longer. In other cases, it appears between periods or after menopause. Abnormal bleeding may also happen after having sex.

Abnormal vaginal bleeding does not mean that you must have got cervical cancer. But there must be something wrong with your physical condition. If you are experiencing it, you need to see a doctor to get a proper evaluation and treatment.
