Myocardial ischemia, also called cardiac ischemia, occurs when the blood flow to your heart is reduced. Causes for myocardial ischemia include coronary artery disease, blood clots, coronary artery spasm, etc.
The most common sign or symptom is chest pressure or pain, especially on the left side of the body (angina pectoris). Other signs or symptoms of myocardial ischemia also include:

- Nausea and vomiting
- Fast heartbeat

- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath
- Neck or jaw pain
