What Are Symptoms and Risk Factors of Tachycardia?


The symptoms of tachycardia include:

  • Shortness of breath
  • Lightheadedness
  • Rapid pulse rate
  • Heart palpitations which is a racing, uncomfortable or irregular heartbeat or a sensation of “flopping” in the chest
  • Chest pain
  • Fainting (syncope)

Risk factors

The risk of tachycardia associated with the following:
