Q: How to diagnose lymphoma?
A: In order to diagnose lymphoma, you may go through the following tests and procedures:
- physical exam: to check for swollen lymph nodes, but the presence of lymph nodes does not necessarily mean cancer
- a lymph node biopsy testing: to screen for lymphoma cells (cancer cells)
- blood tests
- a bone marrow sample testing: to look for lymphoma cells
- imaging tests: such as CT and MRI
