Most people do not think so much about their earaches, but when ear pain develops, it can be really annoying. Ear pain is more common in children than in adults. The pain can be constant or it can come and go. It can feel like a burning sensation, or a dull or sharp pain. Here are some useful natural remedies.

 

1. Olive oil

Olive oil can provide a quick relief for an earache. It can act as a lubricant and help people get rid of an infection in the ear.

How to apply:

Dip a cotton swab in the oil and then stick it firmly in your ears.

 

2. Garlic

The antibiotic and analgesic properties of garlic can help decrease ear pain caused by an ear infection.

How to apply:

Heat one teaspoon of chopped garlic in about 2 tablespoons of sesame oil.

Then cool and filter the oil.

Put 2 to 3 drops of garlic oil in your ear.

 

3. Onion

Thanks to the antibacterial and antiseptic properties in onions, they might work well in healing the aching ears.

How to apply:

You just need a tablespoon of onion juice from the grated onions.

Then heat it over the low heat.

Then put 3 drops of this juice into the ear.

 

4. Use hot water bottle

Heat can help you relieve the pain effectively.

How to apply:

Wrap a hot water bottle with a cloth or towel.

Press it against your infected ear for a few minutes.

 

5. Ginger

Ginger has strong anti-inflammatory properties that can be useful in curing ear infections. In addition, it is an excellent natural painkiller.

How to apply:

Extract the juice from fresh ginger.

Put 3 drops of the juice into the ear.

You can also mix a tablespoon of freshly grated ginger root with about 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Wait about 5-10 minutes.

Put 3 drops of the oil in the infected ears.
