For Birth Control “I started on this pill after moving and seeing a new doctor and it has been around 7 months of use. My anxiety has escalated an insane amount and my motivation for anything is almost nonexistent which is very unlike me, I have also been spotting like every other week. I was starting to get really concerned until I decided to look up reviews on this medication. Seeing that people have had the same experience as me makes me feel much better. I am switching asap.”

For Birth Control “I have been on LoLoestrin for over a year and never had any problems except for some weight gain. I had to switch to Junel due to insurance coverage and it is awful. I’m only on my second week of taking it and the mood swings and irritability are insanely awful. I am constantly hungry no matter how much food I eat I just want to keep eating and I am tired all day long. I have no motivation to do anything. Having stomach aches and cramps when I’m not expecting my period anytime soon and my chronic headaches have gotten much worse. My sex drive is completely gone and I just keep snapping at everyone for no reason.”

For Birth Control “This birth control sucks I’ve been experiencing irregular bleeding ever since I started taking this and I swear it’s made sex painful like I don’t even know. I did experience a mental breakdown the first week and now I’m just always moody. I have cravings more now than I did before the pill. I’m just sick of bleeding everyday what a horrible pill! I’m switching asap I don’t know why my doctor prescribed me this yucky pill with such horrid side effects. Today was probably the last day that I took it and I’ll be throwing the rest out I don’t even care what my husband says my health is more important. Very unsatisfied. I took birth control a few years ago and has no issues I think it was tri cyclen way better results there.”

For Birth Control “I had never been on birth control before this one and at first it wasn’t bad. I had slight breast tenderness the first few weeks and that was it. As the weeks progressed I started to break out A LOT. I’ve never had acne before and my doctor said most symptoms would go away after about 3 months. Needless to say my acne became worse, my moods swings were horrible and my anxiety was unbearable. I would cry over the littlest things. I was having panic attacks in class and at work. My anxiety became so bad that it was making me sick. The stress on my stomach was so bad it gave me FREAKING gastritis!!! I was on the pill for 6 months before I decided to stop and as soon as I did most of my symptoms disappeared. The only good thing about it was that my period was super light and my cramps were gone.”

For Birth Control “Been on this medicine for the 21 days and now I’m off for 7 days and during the 7 days , I got my period or break through period. Worst period of my life, worst cramps I’ve ever had. Unbearable even with taking a pain reliever. I am having bleeding with blood clots on top of the severe cramping that almost made me cry. I have noticed I have more of an appetite and I have also been depressed from this medicine. I have experienced a dry vagina also. I know it’s only been a month and it needs to get in my system but I’m gonna give it another month, I’m not sure if the side effects are worth the benefits for me.”

For Birth Control “I’m on my 4th pack, so I’ve given my body 3 months to get used to it. Good things: breasts aren’t sore anymore after the initial 3 months, acne isn’t horrible but I don’t have clear skin either, went from a C cup to a D cup, and my periods have gone from mildly heavy and super painful to extremely light and almost pain-free.Bad things: if I don’t take this pill early in the day (before 10 pm) then I’ll have panic attacks in the middle of the night. They often spread through my body making my legs feel weak and making me lightheaded and dizzy. This is especially true during the first few pills of each pack. Also, I cry several times a day over the smallest, stupidest thing and I wasn’t like this before taking this pill. Taking all of this into consideration, in my case I’ve decided to take the bad with the good. I can live through these side effects because Junel has made my periods so much better. 4 out of 5 stars. Would recommend if you can make it past the first 3 months.”
