Breathing problems are among the common symptoms of anxiety. You may take some breathing exercises to ease the problems.
One exercise is counting breaths. First, you sit comfortably and shut your eyes. Say “relax” to yourself while taking a deep breath. Then you breathe 10 times in the natural way and count your breaths. Open your eyes when you finish counting.
Then, there’s meditation breathing. In this exercise, you only focus on breathing out and ignore your breathing in. Breathe out as much air as you can. Remember to relax your body while doing it.
