Hypotension is also known as low blood pressure. It refers to the situation that your blood pressure is lower than 90 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) for the top number (systolic) or 60 mm Hg for the bottom number (diastolic).
For some people, low blood pressure may be unnoticeable, they may have the disease for many years and experience no noticeable physical problems. But some people with low blood pressure may have symptoms, like feel dizzy and faint.
