All around the world, many studies on chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) are being done through clinical trials and in labs. Thanks to these studies, new drugs are being invented and tested to treat CLL.

Types

Different new drugs are used in different types of treatments. Most new drugs are used in target therapy, while others are used in chemotherapy.

A number of new antibodies are being tested, including Lumiliximab which is used to enhance the immune system to attack leukemia cells, and HA22 (CAT-8015) which is used to poison cancer cells by attaching to them.
