March is the National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. It was dedicated by President Clinton in February 2000. During this month, colorectal cancer patients, survivors and advocates get together and hold many events to raise funds and communicate with others.
Participants will wear blue and share information about colorectal cancer, such as its early symptoms, how to prevent the cancer, and the importance of regular screening. The goal of the month is to help colorectal patients and raise people’s awareness of the cancer.
